It's Tuesday at 7:40 a.m. The first chair of the day is empty. The calendar still says confirmed. Nobody cancelled. Nobody answered yesterday's blast. The front desk learns about the no-show when the provider is already gowning, and the waitlist never got a call because the cancellation never existed.
